2021 SUMMER PROGRAMS
We have two different summer activities. Each taking place at different times in the summer. The first activity is Women In STEAM and the other is Future Science Leaders. Your child has the opportunity to sign up for both programs if applicable! Seats will be given on a first come, first serve basis. As always, feel free to reach out with any questions or comments. We are excited for you to join us in these camps!
WOMEN IN STEAM
The goal of our Women in STEAM summer camp is to introduce the growing world of science and technology to future women leaders. Every week, the camp focuses on a new area of STEAM, for example, the first week is science-based, the second is technology-based, etc.
Women in STEAM tutors are leaders of robotics groups, members of science/technology honor societies, part of NASA's programs, proficient in 5+ programming languages, and more!
Emphasis on women empowerment!
Students participate in new projects every session, such as conducting science experiments, learning new programming languages such as Scratch and Python, participate in engineering competitions with their peers, etc.
FUTURE OF SCIENCE
In the Future of Science summer camp, Mentors will help students research STEM concepts in the world such as natural disasters, new forms of technology, and groundbreaking innovations. In addition, the student will have a chance to present their project to the class and get the chance to compete in a science fair.

Tutors have been members of science/technology honor societies, part of Advanced Placement technology classes, leaders of robotics groups, state-level Olympiad participants, Science Fair/Toshiba Exploravision winners, etc.
In addition to learning new science concepts, students learn presentation techniques and work with new platforms such as Canva, Adobe Spark, Google Slides, Google Sites, and more.
Students will learn effective presentation techniques and get the opportunity to present to a panel of judges
